The Newtek Tricaster 300 is an all-in-one HD production video switcher, offering 3 simultaneous video inputs in HD-SDI 720p/1080i, HD Component 720p/1080i, SD-SDI, SD Component, SD Y/C, and SD Composite.  A single network input is also available for screen capture on a properly networked external computer, as well as integration with Newtek 3play or Livetext machines.  Multiple input formats are acceptable in a single project and are scaled to the user selected final output format of 720p/60, 1080i/60, or 480i/60.  Audio inputs include 4 channels of SDI embedded audio on each SDI video input, up to 10 channels of analog audio (2 XLR, 8 1/4"), and up to 12 channels of AES/EBU audio on 3 input rows.  The Tricaster 300 offers 2 rows of HD PGM outputs, as well as a third row of SD PGM output.  Audio outputs include up to 4 channels of analog or AES/EBU PGM audio, as well as up to 4 channels of analog or AES/EBU 

The Newtek Tricaster 300 offers a wide range of video transitions, two layers of video overlay along with a library of stock text beds and text overlays, live keying capabilities with stock backgrounds and the ability to bring in custom backgrounds, a single DDR bin for video playback and roll-ins, and a full audio mixer.  It also affords the ability to record a full HD line cut, as well as capture screen grabs on the fly.AUX audio.  All HD and SD-SDI output rows offer embedded PGM audio with video.
